Can highly recommend if you’re looking for a well made coffee drink. The cappuccino was perfect and the iced latte and iced matcha delicious. Great space and friendly, capable staff.

Blue Bottle still prices and presents itself as though it occupies the top tier of specialty coffee. In my experience, it no longer does. The cafés look polished, the branding remains strong, and the prices are unmistakably premium, but the coffee itself too often lands at the level of merely competent. The espresso is frequently lacking the necessary balance, usually over-extracted, and the cappuccinos and lattes often feel like drinks executed to a broad commercial standard rather than with real technical distinction. For what Blue Bottle charges, that is not a minor shortcoming. It is the central failure. What makes it worse is that the brand still seems to rely on an older reputation for seriousness that the current product often does not support. The staff no longer consistently seem especially well trained or genuinely coffee-obsessed, and the overall experience feels more like an upscale retail performance than a café built around uncompromising quality. A recent promotion dispute only confirmed that broader decline. It took far too much time and escalation to resolve a simple issue, and the company only became conciliatory after repeated pressure. This is my favorite BB anywhere for the outside seating on a beautiful Oakland street. Visit here and you can stay for hours enjoying the scenery.

The atmosphere of Blue Bottle Coffee. It is a walkable distance from the 12th Street BART station. The Bay Breakfast sandwich and the coffee were very filling. I enjoyed the dripping sauce on the sandwich. This is a great place for getting premium coffee if you don’t regularly visit coffee shops. The service was very quick and professional. The place is very quiet and has tables for people to do some work. I really like the interior of the building. There is a great view of a street.

Blue Bottle Coffee is unique coffee house with a one of an kind experience. The coffee is perfectly roasted. They are excellent for making a robust cup of coffee. The Staff seems to be very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about their products. With my coffee I ordered a banana and pumpkin loaf. Absolutely delicious and definitely will return again to try something else. This is a priceless coffee house that has fine-tuned their craft. Dog friendly. This facility provides easy access for handicap. Great place
